Well… they can’t all be winners. This 3D bloom was supposed to be a pink, purple, and yellow flower over a graphite black background — dramatic, bold, and dimensional. Instead? Something was off from the beginning. When I dropped the alcohol inks, they didn’t react the way they normally do. I should’ve noticed that in the moment, but of course hindsight is 20/20 after you demold 😅 My first thought while filming was that maybe my white lines weren’t thick enough. But after watching the footage back, I’m thinking I may have used leftover resin that had been sitting longer than it should have. That would explain why the inks didn’t sink and bloom the way they normally do with Let’s Resin Tabletop Resin. It’s funny — I usually don’t struggle with tabletop resin at all. This one just decided to humble me. Resin keeps you honest. And sometimes it keeps you guessing.
