Loe Pool Penrose estate wheelchair visit with my assistance dog Where is it? Loe Pool near Helston South Cornwall Car Park post code: TR13 0RB free or payment: National Trust members free Disabled parking Bays YES How many? 2 Disabled toilets? At the stable rooms Cafe or drink food facility? At the stable tearooms Tramper Hire? NONE How many available? How long can you have it? Extra payment? Gates? None Terrain: tarmac level and loose gravel on incline EASY moderate Scenery: Coastal woodland Shelter? Stable tearooms Experience: So the car park we chose is slightly along from the estate. Keep a close eye on the satnav as you can easily miss your turning. The disabled bays are on a slight slant so please be mindful. Also this gets full really quickly and sometimes people may park behind you and make it difficult to reverse out. There is other parking near the boating lake which is flat. There is a slight slope and after that it levels off. Its not clearly signposted the way to go from the car park but there is always someone to ask. You can choose to go on the completely flat tarmac route which takes you along the side of loe pool. This is an excellent wheelchair path and is about 30-40min long. Half way you will see the stable cafe which is just over to the right depending where you park. If you choose to go on the other pathway past the tearooms this takes you on a slight incline through the woods and along side of the pool. Lovely views and the real crowning is seeing the sea at the end and how they both nearly meet each other in the middle. This terrain is more suitable to off road or trampers as its a bit bumpy and a steady incline all the way. The views are amazing if you can manage this far. I definitely would recommend turning round out this point and working your way back to have another coffee and cake :) ha ha #wheelchairwalkscornwall #wheelchairadventures #cornwall #cornwalllife #accessibledaysoutcornwall #wheelchair #cornwalllife #accessibledays #wheelchair #livinginthemoment #livelife #livelifefullest #outdooradventures #powerchair #offroadwheels #cornwalluk #dayatatimecornwall #disabled #disabilityawareness #southwestcoastpath #Trampe r#accessibledaysout #countrylife #coastallife #assistancedog #loepool
