⏱️ 79:44:37 Δ 76:30:38 💀 16564 Δ 13459 winning session recording:    • superfecta 2-20-24 third raw   another session recording because the winning attempt recording is 15 minutes long because i stopped it to clip something right before:    • superfecta 2-19-24 raw   map: https://gamebanana.com/mods/457534 my sheet: https://tinyurl.com/slashsheet current placement: tier 14 difficulty opinion: tier 14 sometime in november of last year, i decided i wanted my next major accomplishment in this game to be a tier 1 golden, since i felt more than good enough. i decided to specifically look for one that would be a skillset match for me so that i would avoid the mistake i made the first time i went for a t1, when i decided to go for summit prologue golden and then got completely rolled and smoked by an analog unfriendly golden that was the complete antithesis of my skillset. so i looked at all of the tier 1’s at the time and came up with three ones that were viable for me: ehs, superfecta, and vivid abyss. ehs looked like something i wouldn’t have the patience for and vivid abyss just looked way too hard, so i settled with superfecta, and i’m really glad i made that choice because the golden being one that only one person had done and one other person was going for at the time probably helped a ton with my mental. oh yeah, the map. it’s great. both playing this map casually and goldening it were some of the best experiences i’ve had in this game, and experiences that i so greatly wish people would stop avoiding just because they don’t like Gravity Helper. if you haven’t played this already, please give it a shot 6:23 least scuffed appels-zucchini clear fr 18 runs to cp4 2 runs to cp5 seven 1 death runs (two of which weren’t actual one death runs, but instead had an extra death i didn’t think would realistically happen with the golden, so i didn’t count it) thanks hyper for being hyper thanks eta for thumbnail thanks lizlazed for starting this golden around the same time as me and sharing strats thanks shye for saving my ass at least like 16 different times with hardware related issues thanks samah for fixing the jumpthrough clip bug which i never actually died to but instead died to being paranoid of thanks to everyone who at any point joined vc with me to talk and/or watch me play, which always helped a lot with distracting me from how the session was going notes about strats: -i improved the room skip at 3:19 a bit, this is just a short jump and slowfall on a low pixel of the wall. it can still be improved but this is definitely better than the 3f left tap -the super skip at 3:35 is pretty important, it takes a bit to get a feel for all of the possible right dash timings but once you do it’s super consistent -there are some improvements to the cheese at the start of zucchini-kazt (4:03) but i have no recollection of doing clantis’ strat so i don’t know how much it matters lol -i don’t think the ending strat i did in zucchini-appels (4:17) will change much for other people, but intended isn’t even 10% consistent for me and this strat is 100% consistent as long as you go far enough right before doing the first non regrab -doing a bhop into the gap at 5:40 allows you to start the dash later and prevents deaths to the dash ending, which isn’t all too common, but i did die to it happening once -don’t use the room skip at 6:00 it changes literally nothing because the room it skips is one of the most consistent in the map. i regret using it -the partial room skip at 7:04 is pretty useful, however it brings the new obstacle of needing to do the part before it faster so the door doesn’t close on you. it’s really rare but you should still be conscious of it -the strats in kazt-kazt (7:39) are all pretty negligible and didn’t improve my consistency on the room. i also wish i didn’t do them because intended is cool and these strats make the room so slow paced -the grapple skip at 8:28 doesn’t seem to be as important as i thought it was at first, i literally couldn’t even clear the room intended while labbing but halfway through the grind i tried it again and it didn’t seem too bad. didn’t feel like muscle memory rewriting though -either the grapple skip at 8:50 is literally the best strat in the map or i’m missing something. intended was a dice roll while labbing lol
