Made with golden layers of filo pastry and a rich spinach-feta filling, this recipe is easy, delicious, and guaranteed to impress. 🥬 Spanakopita (Greek Spinach & Feta Pie) ⭐ Ingredients: Filling 250g fresh spinach(or frozen, thawed & drained) 1 cup creamy feta cheese (crumbled) 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp Nigella seeds 2 tbsp olive oil 2 tbsp butter 1 eggs Salt to taste Pastry: 1 pack phyllo (filo) pastry sheets ½ cup melted butter or olive oil (for brushing) 🍳 Method: Step 1 — Prepare the Filling Boil the Spinach for 2 min and squeeze all the water out. Cool the Spinach completely. Add feta, egg, nigella seeds(Kalonji) and garlic powder and a little salt if required. Mix well and set aside. Step 2 — Prepare the Phyllo Layers Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a baking tray. Layer filo sheets one by one, brushing each sheet with melted butter/oil. Step 3 — Assemble the Pie Spread the spinach-feta filling and roll the layered filo, brushing each layer. Tuck the edges in neatly. Sprinkle some nigella seeds on top. Step 4 — Bake Bake for 35–40 minutes or until golden and crispy.
