This video will talk about a couple tips when you have your head milled and also talks about our new .059” head gasket that can maybe save you some time at the machine shop. In the video I mentioned the squish band factory spec is .0285” But real world from looking at hundreds of heads, Saab finished production @ .035”. I believe SAAB change the spec slightly through the years, and I know for sure they change the thickness of the head gaskets. I believe they were doing this to help reduce squish band and lower emissions.
