This was the last intimidating tower that I had to beat in EToH, and it didn't live up to the hype? Ever since starting playing this, this was the most comfortable gameplay I had ever played. It is the quintessential obby experience. Every single hard mechanic was used in this tower, and nothing was new. It was just a test of everything skillful up to this point. ToCP was the test of everything ever in EToH, but ToCR was more focused to skilled players which made me feel better at the game. There were no parts that were awkward. Sure floor 7 was pretty bad, and there were some other bad sections, but it all fit under the hands very nicely. I also like how the tower has insane final boss energy, where every floor is lowkey climactic but in a building progression. I felt truly confident in my playing for the first time in a while, which was very nice. I also like the colors a lot, they are super nice. I didn't spend very long on this tower. I was scared because everyone always hyped it up to be the hardest gameplay ever, many citing the horrific difficulty. But, I don't get it. I think the hardest gameplay in ToER and ToCP is harder than this gameplay. Also, this tower is generally pretty short, and it has a net. People hyped up floor 6 pretty hard, but I think it is probably the easiest floor of the net, having nothing technical and being 100% consistent. Also, the first half did not pose me with such spoken troubles either. I thought most of the gameplay was generally balanced, and I had a very linear progression throughout which was nice. To have some of my friends tell me that this was harder than ToER and ToCP which really scared me, but I will never understand that since it just felt so nice and easy. It was desert, but I didn't expect it to be. My problem laid in finger lock. Some time during my first net run, I developed crazy fingerlock again, and it caused grave issues. I was sitting at singular jumps for 2 mins or longer just cramping in my hand and getting sharp pain, not being able to press down the key for reasons I have never figured out. It got better at random parts, then would come back worse. This is not the fault of the tower, rather than something that just happened to me, which I wish it didn't. I could have beaten it so fast, but that was not what happened. I still beat it relatively fast, which is not something to complain about. I just wish it didn't happen, it hurt pretty bad. Enjoyment: 5/10 Gameplay: 10/10 Design: 8/10 Creativity: 6/10 Overall: 28/40 Difficulty: High Catastrophic (11.71) SCLP Difficulty: Mid-High Catastrophic (11.64) Personal Difficulty: High Catastrophic Tower of Champion's Road (ToCR) is a Catastrophic difficulty, ascension-based Tower located in Ring 9. It was made by Cll0y, Crimzenith, Feodoric, and xxDuzeRxx. This tower is mostly based on truss obstacles, and it requires very advanced techniques to complete. It is also nearly purist, with the only client objects being a few teleporters, a button-deactivated ouch-brick, the final pushing platform, and the insta-killbrick (instakill) ball above the tower, where if the player failed the truss jump to the platform in the final stretch, they'll be teleported in front and kills them upon collision. This tower is also the second tower in its trilogy with Tower of Inevitable Failure and Tower of Fractured Memories. It is currently the 3rd hardest canon tower, behind Tower of Elongated Runs and Tower of Cruel Punishment.
