Louée pour sa manière unique de canaliser la vulnérabilité et la puissance, l'écoute profonde et l'explosivité, Toninato a composé deux albums solo mettant en avant des espaces réverbérants spécifiques dans lesquels elle utilise son saxophone baryton comme révélateur de beauté acoustique et déploie délicatement son miroir électronique. Dans son projet Lions on the Run, elle s'aventure sur le territoire du beat et de l'incandescence afin de mettre en scène une perte de repères, prémisse d'une transformation nécessaire. Ida Toninato is a saxophone player, a singer and a composer. Her artistic practice unfolds at the crossroads of acoustic exploration, the resonance of reverberant spaces and the creation of hybrid sonic universes in which electronics and instrumentation dance in symbiosis. Praised for her unique way of channeling vulnerability and power, deep listening and explosiveness, Toninato has composed two solo albums highlighting specific acoustic spaces in which she uses her baritone saxophone as a revealer of acoustic beauty and delicately unfolds their electronic mirrors. In her project Lions on the Run, she ventures into the territory of beat and incandescence in order to depict a loss of bearings, the premise of a necessary transformation.
