8/7/23 At 12:00:05 the city of Enid conducted a monthly test of their Outdoor Warning Sirens on Monday, August 7th, 2023, the test consisted of around a 3 minute Alert. Decided to go to this low mounted 2001 for my city’s test this month. It only goes for 2 and a half minutes but I’ve never heard of it failing. Definitely one of the loudest sirens I’ve heard. The Thunderbeam to my east failed which is why you don’t hear it after the 2001 shut off. I forgot to put that on the map in the beginning. That ‘beam fails decently often Siren System: City of Enid Testing Schedule: 1st Monday at 12:00PM Temperature has to be above 45° (F) Weather Permitting Location: 1959 Arlene St Distance: About 125ft Sirens Heard: FS 2001-SRN AC (3rd Gen) - 124ft ASC E-Class 4 - 7,190ft | 1.36 Miles ASC E-Class 4 - 8,490ft | 1.61 Miles ASC E-Class 4 - 8,678ft | 1.64 Miles ASC E-Class 8 - 11,201ft | 2.12 Miles Sentry 3V8-H - 8,365ft | 1.58 Miles Sentry 3V8-H - 12,048ft | 2.28 Miles Thunderbolt 1000AT (Level 5) - 12,467ft | 2.36 Miles Thunderbolt 1000AT (Level 4) - 20,818ft | 3.94 Miles Cameras Used: Main Shot - Canon PowerShot SX540HS Second Shot - iPhone 14 Pro Check out my Enid Siren Map: https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/edi...
