Another memorable flight from my time in San Diego! what made this flight unique was the fact that bikes could be used for free from Oceanside airport to go places. As a Dutchman, being able to bike and explore places was very nice, especially since it was free of charge. Seeing something like this in the US was unique and really surprising to me! On the sign near the bikes it said to I've the mentioned number a call before using th bikes. Simple and effective! I would highly recommend flying to Oceanside and bike around. It is such a beautiful place! Oceanside feels like an idilic Californian coastal town where life is good, you enjoy the beach and the golden sky sunsets. It was only a 20 minute flight away from San Diego, by car it takes you significantly longer to get there. In hindsight, I could have flown better according to the Oceanside noise abatement procedures. I discovered that there is a noise abatement procedure description mentioned on the Oceanside airport website. I do not know if this was live at the time of my flight. Apart from that, the flight was very enjoyable and smooth.
