QUESTION: HAVE YOU EVER NOTICED HOW FLOCKS OF GEESE GENERALLY FLY IN A V-FORMATION? AND DO YOU KNOW WHY? Well, scientists tell us that, most likely, there are TWO MAIN REASONS: #1) Flying in a V-formation conserves their energy as each bird flies slightly above the bird in front of them, resulting in a reduction of wind resistance. This, along with "rotating first bird leadership", enables the flock to fly several hundred miles without resting. #2) The V-formation allows each bird to keep track of all the others while they communicate with one another by "honking" and, in effect, "cheering each other on"! THINK ABOUT THAT ... and WOW! What a "beautiful picture" of the way in which the Sacred Scriptures tell US to LIVE as CHRISTIANS and as MEMBERS of the BODY of CHRIST!
