This is the story of Blackblade and how it was reforged in our return to Dominaria. Blackblade was created by a legendary smith turned warrior Dekkon Blackblade on the request of a demonic Planeswalker looking for a weapon capable of draining and storing the souls of her victims. Dekkon, after becoming a Planeswalker himself, became one of the Blackblades victims and tragedy consumed his life. He eventually broke its curse when he killed the demon Planeswalker and the Elder Dragon Piru, draining the dragons soul with the weapon. Now the demonlord Belzenlok looks to take this artifacts history for his own, and Gideon Jura and the Gatewatch seek to reuse it for justice!
