Rock Creek Station & Stricker Homesite dates back to 1865. Visitors will find stories from the Oregon Trail, Kelton Freight Road and one of the first homesteads in Idaho. It is listed in the National Register of Historic Places and is located 20 minutes south of Twin Falls, Idaho. At one time it was the largest stage station between Fort Hall and Fort Boise. They even had a saloon and dance hall. Recent renovations have made the site even more informative for visitors and helped preserve some of Idaho's history. Tour the Rock Creek Store building, Stricker Home, summer house, cellars, pioneer cemetery and the interpretive center. Admission is by donation. Self guided tours are available daily without notice and buildings are open Sundays 1pm - 5pm April - September. They also host seasonal events and a haunted night in October.
