In this Vietnam travel vlog, I leave my cozy Hmong house homestay and take a scenic taxi ride into the heart of Sapa, a charming mountain town in northern Vietnam known for its rich culture, stunning landscapes, and unique French colonial architecture. As I explore the peaceful streets of Sapa, I’m immediately impressed by the town’s layout, colorful buildings, and vibrant atmosphere. I stroll down a quiet, cozy street, where I encounter one of the many local street vendors selling handmade souvenirs and trinkets. While many of these sellers tend to overcharge tourists, I decided to give a small tip so I could enjoy my walk in peace. Next, I search for a local spot to grab some food—and I strike gold! I discover a beautiful little eatery (Little Sapa) where I order Vietnamese spring rolls and a grilled beef plate that reminded me a bit of beef shawarma. The price? Only 220,000 VND—a total bargain for the quality and flavor. After the meal, I continue deeper into the Sapa city center, soaking in the blend of modern Vietnamese life and French colonial charm. From narrow buildings stacked with shops on every floor, to lively street food scenes and glowing lights after sunset, Sapa is truly magical. I finish my day at Sapa’s man-made lake, a peaceful and relaxing spot that perfectly captures the serene spirit of this mountainous town. --- About Sapa: Sapa was established as a hill station by the French in the early 20th century. Located in the Lào Cai Province near the Chinese border, it's famous for its terraced rice fields, ethnic minority groups like the Hmong and Dao, and cool climate that contrasts with much of Vietnam.
