14 Days of Fasting - January 2026 Theme: A Time of Consecration: Positioning for Divine Intervention FASTING DAY 11 – Preparation for Ministry 14 Days of Fasting | 2026 Theme: Called, Chosen, and Prepared Focus: Readiness to serve God effectively 📖 Key Scripture: Acts 13:2–3 “As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, ‘Separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.’ Then, having fasted and prayed, they laid hands on them and sent them away.” 🌅 MORNING DEVOTIONAL – ANSWERING THE CALL Day 11 focuses on being prepared for ministry and service. God calls and chooses individuals for specific purposes, but readiness comes through prayer, fasting, and consecration. This morning, examine your heart: Are you truly ready to serve where God has called you? Use this time to align your life with His purposes. Reflect: • How is God calling me to serve in 2026? • Am I actively preparing myself spiritually, mentally, and emotionally for this calling? Morning Prayer: Father, prepare me for the ministry You have called me to. Shape my heart, mind, and spirit to serve You effectively. Let Your Spirit guide and equip me for every task and assignment. In Jesus’ name, Amen. ☀️ NOONTIME DEVOTIONAL – EQUIPPED TO SERVE 📖 2 Timothy 3:17 “…that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” At midday, reflect on how God is equipping you for service. Preparation involves learning, humility, obedience, and spiritual sensitivity. Every act of consecration now sets the stage for fruitful ministry later. Reflect: • What skills, habits, or attitudes need alignment with God’s calling? • How can I cultivate readiness to serve effectively? Noontime Prayer: Lord, equip me fully for Your service. Teach me humility, patience, and discernment. Prepare me to serve with excellence, love, and obedience. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🌙 NIGHT DEVOTIONAL – CONSECRATED FOR MINISTRY 📖 Romans 12:1 “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.” As Day 11 ends, commit yourself as a living sacrifice for God’s work. Even rest becomes part of preparation when your heart is aligned with His calling. Reflect on your progress and the spiritual tools God has provided to serve effectively. Reflect: • How has God shown me readiness for ministry today? • What steps will I take tomorrow to remain prepared? Night Prayer: Father, thank You for calling me to serve. I dedicate myself to Your work, fully prepared and consecrated. Equip me continually to fulfill Your purpose with joy and faithfulness.
