There are three primary ways atoms achieve this stable connection: Ionic Bonding (The Great Electron Transfer): One atom gives away one or more of its outer electrons to another atom. The atom that gives up electrons becomes positively charged, and the atom that gains them becomes negatively charged. The bond is the resulting strong electrical attraction between these opposite charges. This typically happens between a metal and a non-metal atom. Covalent Bonding (The Sharing Economy): Atoms share one or more pairs of their outer electrons with each other. The shared electrons are now attracted to the positive center of both atoms at the same time, which is what holds the atoms together. This typically happens between two non-metal atoms. Metallic Bonding (The Electron Sea): In a metal, the outer electrons are not tied to any single atom but instead form a "sea" of shared, moving electrons that flows around a lattice of positively charged metal atoms. The bond is the attraction between the positive metal atoms and this pool of free-moving, negative electrons. This is why metals are good at conducting electricity. #chemistrypage #chemistry #jee #education #conceptneet #neet2026 #exam #viral #neet #neetmotivation #neetpreparation #preparation #chemicalbonding #jeemains #jeeadvanced #viralvideo #viralvideos #viral_video #views #trending #youtube #youtubevideo #oneshot #oneshotrevision #best #bestrevision #fajansrule #latticeenergy #molecularorbitaltheory #trendingvideo #dipolemoment #bondangle #conceptneetacademy #conceptneetdigital
