Unfortunately the front diff broke a few spider gears and shot them through the case on the 2016 yxz1000r on our trip to brimstone atv park. Its a bummer, but its part of riding them like we do. We have a little teardown and demonstration on how the diff and 4wd works on these machines. hope you guys enjoy. Machine details: Justins machine is a 2016 yxz1000r with full weller exhaust, tune, weller tie rods, weller steering box, 70/30 gear reduction, heavy flywheel, 30" maxxis carnivores, 14x8 4+4 DWT Starfighter wheels, cage wrx super shorty cage, Yamaha front and rear bumper with spare tire carrier, and warn 3000lb winch. Billys machine is a 2017 yxz 1000r with graves exhaust, tune, 70/30 gytr gear reduction, heavy flywheel, 30" maxxis carnivores, 14x7 5+2 Method 401 wheels, weller tie rods, krash offroad cage, bumpers, sliders, warn 3500lb winch, and simpson suspension seats.
