Pilates Reformer 60 Minute Workout Level 2 | Classical Roulette Workout and Stretch Props: None Focus: Core strength & control with some excellent activation through the glutes and hamstrings. Difficulty Rating: 2 (endurance strength will be challenged, but coordination & balance is not difficult) Duration: 60 Minutes + Stretch Set-Up at the START of class: 1Y or 1B Spring (extra-light or light) Headrest UP or DOWN Foot Strap or Safety Strap ON Footbar DOWN Long & Short Straps Are you ready for “Classical Roulette"? This session has several classical exercises mixed into the routine really focusing on core strength and control. No matter what brand of Reformer you have and what level of practice you are at this workout will be a great one for you! We start with some deep core activation and then flow into some traditional or classical work. If you are just starting your fitness journey and/or aren’t looking for overly complicated choreography you’ll enjoy the simplicity of this class. You will have the opportunity to make this session very challenging if that is what you are looking for as I provide layering in each movement sequence that will challenge endurance strength, but the coordination and balance element is not difficult in this class. Every movement sequence I provide optional modifications if an exercise is too difficult. You have the option to start class on 1 light spring or 1 extra-light spring. If you do not have an extra-light spring on your machine, no to worry…this entire flow can be done on a blue or red spring! I guide you through spring changes very clearly during the session.
