The Capital Region’s Logistics Future Taking Shape Leaders from the Alabama Port Authority, the City of Montgomery, Montgomery County, and the Montgomery Regional Chamber recently toured the Montgomery Intermodal Container Transfer Facility (ICTF) to see firsthand the rapid construction progress underway. Less than a year after breaking ground, this transformative infrastructure project is already taking visible shape — reinforcing the Montgomery region's growing role as a logistics and distribution hub for Alabama and the Southeast.
