Wishing You Enjoyable Cooking Moments and a Wonderful Day:) Let me know what you think of my vegan recipes and what recipes you'd like to see next in the comments:) Subscribe to our channel for new recipes and healthy vegan meals, and don't forget to turn on notifications:) Vegan Lentil Wrap Recipe 🥣 Ingredients: For the lentil filling: 1 cup red lentils 1 medium onion, chopped 2 garlic cloves, crushed 1 carrot, grated 1 tsp cumin 1 tsp salt 1 tsp black pepper 1/2 tsp chili flakes 1 tbsp olive oil 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley Other ingredients: 4-6 tortilla wraps (optional) 1/2 cup shredded lettuce 1/4 cup chopped tomatoes 1/4 cup chopped red onion 1/4 cup vegan yogurt 🥣 Instructions: Cook the lentils: Place the red lentils in a pot and cover with water. Boil until the lentils are soft, about 10-15 minutes. Drain the water once done. Sauté the onion and garlic: Heat olive oil in a pan. Add the chopped onion and sauté until golden. Then add the crushed garlic and sauté for another 1-2 minutes. Prepare the lentil filling: Add the grated carrot, cooked lentils, cumin, salt, black pepper, and chili flakes to the sautéed onion and garlic. Stir-fry for a few minutes, then mix in the chopped parsley. Your filling is ready! Heat the tortillas: Warm the tortilla wraps in a pan or microwave to make them soft. Assemble the wrap: Place the lentil filling in the center of each tortilla. Add chopped tomatoes, lettuce, and onion. Drizzle your desired vegan yogurt or sauce on top. Wrap it up: Carefully fold the tortilla into a wrap. Serve: Serve your delicious vegan lentil wrap immediately.
