Follow these steps so your eyebrows aren’t overgrown, bushy or detract from your handsome face. 00:00 Add Definition You want to add definition while still keeping a natural look. You want to keep your eyebrows shorter on the sides but longer towards the middle without raising or lowering them. Be careful - too much grooming or added definition can make them look overly done and is just as, if not more, distracting than when they were untamed. 01:25 Use Small Scissors Small scissors meant for hair trimming and grooming make it easy to cut away unwanted hairs while tidying the ones you want to keep. Your regular, everyday scissors are likely too big and bulky and probably dirty, so it’s best to get a new pair reserved just for eyebrow grooming. 01:40 Use Tweezers Once you’ve achieved the desired length, get in there with some tweezers to get rid of pesky, stray hairs. You’ll often find extra hairs underneath the arch, in between the eyebrows and on the outer edge of the peak. 02:09 Determine Your Eyebrow Proportions You should really do this before you begin grooming your eyebrows but while your trimming or plucking is fine too. Use a comb to make sure the end of the eyebrow aligns with the corner of your outer nostril. Then, make sure the peak of the eyebrow lines up with the outside of your iris and the edge of your nose. And lastly, make sure the end of the eyebrow aligns with the center of your nostril. 03:04 Use Clean Tweezers Again, make sure you’re doing this beforehand, but ensure your tweezers are either clean or new. You’ve likely been using these bad boys for other grooming and maintenance so it’s best to clean them before you start plucking. You don’t want to breakout from using dirty tweezers. This will cause less irritation and redness so it’s less obvious you just did your eyebrows. If you do see irritation, make sure you wash your face with a quality face wash and then moisturize with a facial moisturizer. 04:13 Never Ever Us a Razor Razors are very difficult to use when shaping and grooming your eyebrows so you’re likely to ruin them and make them look even worse. Plus, the hair you shave off will just grow back thicker and bushier. 04:32 Don’t Take Too Much From the Top This will cause you to lose a good amount of the definition you’re working so hard to get. The hair does take a little while to grow back so you don’t want to get stuck with thin, weird looking, or even nonexistent, eyebrows.
