Great power-point presentation by local historian Charlie Fisher on behalf of the El Sereno Historical Society. The power-point was presented to the Los Angeles Cultural Heritage Commission on January 16, 2014 as part of our efforts to get the Pacific Electric Soto Street Bridge recognized as a local Historic- Cultural Monument. Sadly and to no surprise, Councilmember Jose Huizar chose NOT to support saving this special piece of El Sereno's history. Instead, he chose to sell our history and supported a 15 million dollar project that will destroy the bridge.
