✨ Welcome to the 22th learning circle of “Building and Nurturing Relationships: With Self, With G-d, With Others.” Shevat invites us to think about nourishment — both material and spiritual. Not what excites us for a moment, but what sustains emunah over time. Just as a tree draws life quietly through its roots, faith too needs a source of nourishment beneath the surface. The letter of this month is Tzadi, the letter of the tzaddik, reminding us that emunah is not meant to stand alone. Faith needs a vessel. It needs connection — something that allows it to become stable, grounded, and livable. In this circle, we explore what it means to be nourished through connection to the Tzaddik. Through Torah narratives, Chassidic teachings, and especially the teachings of Rebbe Nachman, we look at how emunah is strengthened when it is connected to its roots: to the Tzaddikim of the generation, to the collective soul of Am Yisrael, and to one another. We reflect on figures like Yehoshua and Kalev, who faced fear and uncertainty yet remained rooted, and we explore how Chassidut understands the Tzaddik as an “encompassing point” — someone who gathers scattered faith and allows it to flow back into the individual soul. We also speak about the power of learning the Torah of tzaddikim, following their guidance, and sharing their stories. Rebbe Nachman teaches that telling the stories of tzaddikim is not only inspiring — it has the power to awaken holiness again in the world. When told with faith, a story can become like a prayer, drawing salvation and renewal. This class is an invitation to reflect on: • What nourishes your emunah • Where your faith draws its strength • And how connection can turn belief into something alive — even into song May our learning be a source of nourishment, rooted faith, and shared growth. 🌱 ✅ Subscribe to our channel for more spiritually nourishing content. 📩 If you’re a Jewish woman who’d like to join our learning circles live or receive the source sheets and journaling prompts, please email: ezratnashim.community@gmail.com
