Luciana Castellina, journalist, writer, politician, and feminist, is not only a contemporary witness of the last almost 100 years but as well a living monument of the Italian Communist Party. She worked for several newspapers, including L'Unità, il manifesto, and Liberazione. Her writings focused on issues such as workers' rights, feminism, and communism. In 1974, she was co-founder of the Proletarian Unity Party for Communism. She served four terms in Italy's Chamber of Deputies and twenty years in the European Parliament. In this interview, Luciana speaks about feminism of course, but as well about how the political world has changed and changes. She absolutely belives in the young generation and their new and direct ways of making this world a better place.
