A little review on the ARI e-Fat Tire Explorer Peak........ I've been riding for 35 years, and I've had a few high-end road bikes a couple tandems and a few high-end mountain bikes. So, I have a pretty good idea of a good bike when I ride one. As I said, the folks at ARI were so helpful, I'm just an old guy on the phone asking questions but was treated like a VIP. The bike itself is a work of art, today's carbon fiber bikes to the customer, is bike show quality. At 68, I have a love/hate relationship with technology, when it's forced on me, more times than not I love it. Also being stubborn, who needs a fancy motor on a bicycle, just pedal the dang bike. But again, now that I have it, that last hill to the car after 20 or 30 miles and 2 to 3 hours of riding, that you always dreaded, is now a downhill. My first ride was 18 miles on the street, my second ride was 22 miles in the dirt, all on 1 or 2 on the power setting. After that I still had a little over half a charge on the battery, to give you some idea of battery life. I only ride it on 1 and 2 on the power setting and it's more than enough for me, and with it going up to an 8, there's tons more power if you need it.
