This is a LOTAD run of an RBO route for Harmony of Dissonance. This is mostly a concept full of poor movement and definitely some routing mistakes that I talk about in the video. But I just wanted to get this out there to show an RBO route exists for this game and that it's pretty fun! A LOTAD is a "Low optimized tool assisted speedrun". I recorded all of these inputs physically on my controller, not by placing the inputs individually per frame in Tas studio. I used save states essentially to optimize each section somewhat through tas studio, but everything was done in an RTA fashion so it should be viable for RTA runs. How I determined the RBO order was through the Monster Tome item in the game. It fortunately lists off each boss you encounter in an order that seems to be coherent with the natural flow of the game. According to the Monster Tome the order is: giant bat > living armor > golem > skull knight > mino 1 > devil > max slimer > giant merman > peeping big > legion saint > shadow > pazuzu > strangely talos not mino 2 > death > now mino 2 > legion corpse > and lastly cyclops into final fight. So we start with Cyclops, end with giant bat, and proceed to the final fight to end on the orb grab into credits. There is a consideration to be made to possibly route in Maxim first, but I decided against that since you would just repeat his fight twice when you go to the final fight with drac.
