Today I am sharing with you some of the indoor homesteading tasks we do when it is rainy and stormy outside in the winter and how we preserve some of that bounty from the garden. I love dehydrating garlic to make homegrown garlic powder, so much fresher than you will ever find at a store, and it is the perfect way to store garlic for a long time! Preserving the harvest is an important homesteading skill that will pay off in feeding your family all winter long with the beautiful food that you grew at home.
