Bomberman Special [MSX] - Longplay

Skipped the first 5 levels because the beggining was too slow. Developed by Hudson Soft and realeased in 1986 for the home computer MSX, Bomberman Special is a port of the 1985 Bomberman for the NES. Man what a chore was to play this game, bomberman move slow as hell (even with the speed up power-up), the bombs take roughly 5 seconds to explode (thank God to the remote control on stage 3) and if you are not in the right position you cannot place bombs. For some odd reason bomberman is green and the level is blue, the enemies dont have animations and sometimes if you are on the same x axis as the enemy, part of its sprite disappear. The late stages enemies that are more agressive on the nes, like pass and potan, have a tendency to get stuck between hard blocks or to go to the edges of the stage. And what a ending huh? bomberman dosent even become Lode Runner, what a waste! If you value your time, please dont get near this game. Played using the openMSX emulator.
