We also entered Yap’s underwater world, where resident manta rays return again and again to reef channels shaped by tide and current. In this video, we stay beneath the surface a little longer. Yap’s waters are known for their exceptional clarity and calm conditions. Mantas glide through the channels, reef sharks cruise the edges of the reef, and schools of fish move naturally through a healthy, functioning marine system. Nothing here is staged or rushed. Divers wait. The ocean reveals itself.
