Adventure on the Road: A Journey from Chiang Mai to Nan Day 1: The Start of Our Trip In this video, we’re hitting the road on route 11, leaving Chiang Mai and heading towards Lampang. We make a left turn at the Mae Khaem Intersection and hop onto route 1023, heading towards Long and Phrae. Just before we cross the Yom River, we stop for a delicious lunch at a noodle restaurant that serves the best beef noodles ever! After filling our bellies, we continue our adventure to Nan and Baan Chomphu in Nan province. When we arrive, we stay in a cozy bungalow at Poonsap homestay, which is super nice! Day 2: Exploring Bo Kluea Our second day in Nan kicks off after breakfast. We drive along route 1256, which winds through the mountains. Our first stop is View Point 1715, where we can see amazing views! Once we reach Bo Kluea, we check out the ancient salt pit village. This place is really cool because they still make salt there, and a lot of it is used in beauty and health products. After learning about salt, we take route 1081 to Mee Sapan, where we enjoy a simple lunch by the riverside. Next, we drive up to Wat Sapan, a temple that gives us a fantastic view of the village below. After soaking in the sights, we head back towards Bo Kluea and continue on route 1081 to finish our loop. What a day it was! The scenery was stunning, and the roads were beautiful. This trip is a must for anyone who loves biking!
