Nestled in the extreme north of the Kruger National Park is the little visited Pafuri Border Camp. Near the confluence of the Luvuvhu and the Limpopo rivers and the beautiful Pafuri picnic site, the camp, which only has three houses, welcomes the visitor to a unique and unparalleled birding experience. Points of interest in the area are the Tulamela Heritage site, the Crooks Corner view point and the majestic Fever Tree forest. You can also take a break at the peaceful and serene Picnic Site where it is possible to view a variety of bird life, huge crocodiles swimming in the river below and herds of Nyala lining the river banks. All in all, a beautiful place to spend a few days enjoying the beauty of the Kruger National Park.
