Fossils, gold and something very special - West Coast fossil adventure

I headed over the Southern Alps mountain range to the West Coast of the South Island of New Zealand for a quick road trip with my brother and dad. I wanted to try out a small sluice box I had gotten over the Christmas holidays and I knew of a place that had gold and fossils. I found a beautiful piece of pounamu on the beach which Campbell from Campbell Carving made into an incredible piece of taonga (treasure).
