Sri Sathya Sai Students (Alumni of Sri Sathya Sai Educational Institutions) are organizing an evening program entitled “SAMARPAN” on the 4th Sunday of every month at Sivam, Hyderabad. It is about re-living those moments spent with HIM, re-connecting with HIM and soaking in the Divine presence. We have an opportunity to listen to the Leelas of the Lord from the devotees who were blessed with Divine association through “SAMARPAN” The #130 SAMARPAN is being held at SIVAM on the evening of 28th January 2024. We are truly blessed to have in the "Dhanya Jeevulu" series, Sri VSRK Prasad as the speaker for the day. Sri Vasireddy Siva Rama Krishna Prasad (VSRK Prasad) born to a devout family of Late Dr.V.V.Chowdary and Smt.Vijaya Lakshmi Devi who were among the early devotees of Swami since Pata Mandiram days (1949). Four generations of this family are blessed by HIM with Darshan, Sparshan and Sambhashan. He had a lot of childhood memories with Swami. For them, Swami is the Head of the family and they used to share happiness and grief with HIM in-person. The family used to perform most of the rituals and marriages of their children with the consent and blessings of Swami. Along with many rituals, two of their family marriages were performed in Pata Mandiram and Prasanthi Nilayam at the behest of Swami. Sri VSRK Prasad after his graduation in Engineering, joined in BHEL-Hyderabad with the blessings of Swami and worked for several years before starting his own Industry. Later he joined in a private organisation before retirement. During his service days in BHEL, Swami visited BHEL campus several times and even gave Divine Discourses in two Public meetings. Being a member of the first batch of Sri Sathya Sai Sevadal, Hyderabad, he participated in several seva activities in Prasanthi Nilayam, Brindavan, Sivam and other places. He was also a founder member of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Samiti at BHEL, Hyderabad and presently with Prashanth Nagar Samiti, Sangareddy. Sri VSRK Prasad shared his experiences with Swami through several Samarpan/Satsangs in Sai Centres in India, USA and through Radio Sai (SSSMC). Also shared the same through articles printed in Sanatana Saradhi (Telugu & English). Members of his family are also active in Swami's mission. His wife Smt.Kamala transliterates Divine Discourses for Radio Sai (SSSMC). His son, Sri V.Gunaranjan (an alumnus of Ooty School & Primary School of Prashanti Nilayam) helps conducting Samarpan at BHEL Hyderabad and his brother Sri V.Srinivas Rao is the convenor of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Samiti, Ameerpet, Hyderabad.
