Inchcolm Island is a MUST SEE and is in the Firth of Forth between Edinburgh and Fife. It is known as the Iona of the East due to its sheer beauty. On Inchcolm Island you can find the Monastic Inchcolm Abbey, two beautiful beaches and war time fortifications including an ammunition tunnel. Inchcolm Abbey is a popular wedding venue so you may get luck and see the wedding party being piped off the boat and into the Abbey. The adventure will start in South Queensferry where you board the Maid of the Forth and it will take around 30 minutes to reach Inchcolm Island. There you can disembark and explore the area until your return journey. TOP TIP is to leave Inchcolm Abbey until the end at which time the majority of people will have already seen it.
