A customer from Bedfordshire called us and asked if we would spend a day fixing various faults that her previous kitchen fitter had caused! Educational video to show how poor quality workmanship. From the video you can see various doors out of alignment, dishwasher door sticking, fridge doors loose, bad worktop mitres, poor cutting and general poor workmanship all round. The final price of this bad installation comes 450 quid short of a full professional Installation a small price to pay to ensure a quality fitted kitchen after you have spent nearly 6 grand. We sorted as many of the faults as we could and straighted up the doors and draws, eased off and straightened the dishwaher, level the fridge, fixed the microwave back in the unit correctly. I felt really sorry for this couple as they have had a poor kitchen Installation right from the start, they have not even had the certificates for the electrical works yet. I dread to think what stories that area would throw up. We are applying for our IKBBI registration http://www.ikbbi.org.uk http://www.interiorinstallers.co.uk to give our customers full confidence in our abilities and pricing policies - With our registration in place this customer confesses that we would have won this job and this customer would not have had to go through the stresses of having a badly fitted kitchen. Update: we are now registered with iKBBI.
