Blender Basic - 3 Edit mode • Blender Basic - 3 Edit mode HotKeys (Basic... ======================================================================= TAB :You can jump quickly into edit mode In "Edit mode" you can work with vertex, edge and faces. You can fast switch between this mode with hotkeys 1 - 2 - 3 not on numeric pad (numpad handle the camera view) 1 :Vertex select (small dots wich join the edges) 2 :Edge select (the lines wich made your model edges) 3 :Face select (the planes, wich make you model sides- this will where the texture go) A :Select all (veretx face or edge) NumPad . :(press NumPad Dot) set the edit camera to selected object face ,edge veretx CTRL+L :Select related object SELECTIONS SHIFT+LMB you can select multiple face, vertex, edge CTRL+LMB you make selection between 2 point from A to B ALT+LMB this will make loop selection around the full model (depend whare you click and the loop go on this direction - with tshis need practise a bit but great feature ) CTRL+ Incrase selection area CTRL- Decrase selection area . :(dot) Edit mode / set pivot point I :Insert face I+I :Inset face connected / not connected mode E :Extrude E+S :similar for Inser face ALT+E :Extrude menu CTRL+B :Bevel edge or face / Use mouse wheel to adjust CTRL+SHIFT+B :Bevel vertex / Use mouse wheel to adjust X - Del Dissolve vertex, edge, face F - Fill holes J - Join vertex G :Grab face, vertex, edge S :Scale face, vertex, edge R :Rotate face, vertex, edge Here works the special moves G+X,Y or Z :only on selected axis. G+SHIFT+X,Y or Z (Exclude axis) S+X,Y or Z :only on selected axis. S+SHIFT+X,Y or Z (Exclude axis) R+X,Y or Z :only on selected axis. R+SHIFT+X,Y or Z (Exclude axis) G+(axsis X,Y,Z) number :move object on the selected axis with added number of unit R+(axsis X,Y,Z) number :rotate object on the selected axis with added number of unit S+0 :Use on edge or on face to scale to ZERO usefull like spike, blade top, piramid ect.
