Since the day I bought my 2015 Limited LTZ, the seat heaters have been inoperable. I could've taken the easy way out and had them repaired under warranty, but where's the fun in that? Two reasons I didn't: 1.) I didn't want my car sitting at a repair shop for weeks on end just to have a damn seat heater repaired. And 2.) There are absolutely NO videos (as of this recording) detailing the process of repairing heated seats on the 9th Gen Impala. In this video, as you'll find out as it plays out, I set about diagnosing the problem the wrong way. After reading countless worthless postings around the interwebs, the best frame of reference I could start with was to replace the Seat Heater Module. I indeed replace the module, but quickly come to the conclusion that the module is not my issue. Watch until the end where I do finally have my eureka moment and set about the proper course of action. So for informational purposes, I do show you how to replace the module in case it truly is the problem on your vehicle. In case you need a replacement seat heater module for your 9th Gen Impala, the part # is 25976448 Stay tuned for Part 2 where I remedy the problem once and for all!!
