Since the day I bought my 2015 Limited LTZ, the seat heaters have been inoperable. I could've taken the easy way out and had them repaired under warranty, but where's the fun in that? Two reasons I didn't: 1.) I didn't want my car sitting at a repair shop for weeks on end just to have a damn seat heater repaired. And 2.) There are absolutely NO videos (as of this recording) detailing the process of repairing heated seats on the 9th Gen Impala. Continuing on with the repair of my inoperable seat heaters, this time out I remove the seat from the car and replace the upper and lower seat heater pads. As you'll also see, I repair the cracked plastic side panel that houses the seat controls. First video where I replace the Seat Heater Module: • 2006-2016 Impala/Limited (9th Gen) Inopera... I purchased the seat heater pads from GM Parts Prime The upper heater pad is part # 19124636 The lower heater pad is part # 19124637 Just a word of caution: If you are replacing the passenger side heater pads, be aware that the recline lever has a clip holding it in place. You will need to use a window crank clip removal tool: https://www.amazon.com/Dorman-76951-W... The lumbar adjustment lever does not have a clip and can be pried off with a pry bar.
