The Jorvik Centre is a must-see attraction in York. A 'dark ride' through a Viking village which reminded us of Spaceship Earth in Disney's Epcot in some ways. You travel through the village that's filled with Viking animatronics going about their lives. We also spent the day wandering around York including the historic Shambles street which was an inspiration for Diagon Allley in the Harry Potter movies. It also included The Shop That Must Not Be Named which sold Harry Potter gifts. Historic York is full of narrow streets and churches including the York Minster Cathedral.
