Leena Munot, became an entrepreneur at the age of 18, when she co-founded The Giving Tree, an eco-friendly and innovative gifting firm in Bangalore. From then on, there has been no looking back for her and she has taken on blogging, training students and employees of various firms, among a number of other endeavours. Leena has recently authored and conceptualized ‘Goals Mantra’ – a first of its kind kit to goal achievement. She has put across a plan for people to set, achieve and celebrate their life goals in her work, through which she aims to make a significant difference in the way people look at life. She was invited by the pro chancellor of Lovely Professional University, Punjab, to address students and senior faculty with her goal setting workshop. She is working strongly towards her desire of impacting up to 10,000 lives with her Goal Setting system by 31 March, 2017. With leadership, business networking, entrepreneurship and self-development as her themes, she has authored and published over 100 blogs. Leena is a certified networker at Referral Institute. Her achievements are many, including the ‘Best Business Plan’ award at 10,000 Women, a global initiative of the Goldman Sachs Foundation. Leena is also an award-winning Training Director Consultant with BNI Bangalore since 2013. She has helped over 1,400 entrepreneurs network smarter. Over the years, Leena says, she has stayed open and willing to constantly learn, unlearn and relearn. This, along with hard work and dedication, is, as she puts it, ‘the secret to success’ This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
