It is finally happening. We’ve been prepping for this project for a while now, but the time for the insulation tear out begins today. We’re heading under the trailer to face the mess. As many of you know, we haven’t been able to turn the water on to the trailer because of a water leak. The problem? We can’t even see the source because of the original underbelly insulation. Between the moisture from the leak and the "surprises" left behind by critters over the years, that insulation has to go. It’s dirty, it’s cramped, and it’s definitely "off the rails," but it’s the only way we can finally get our plumbing back in order and keep this renovation moving forward. Grab a mask and join us for the wet, itchy, and honest reality of mobile home maintenance! In this video: The Inspection: Assessment of the water damage. The Dirty Work: Tearing out the old belly wrap and soggy fiberglass. The Plan: How we’re prepping to fix the pipes once the area is clear. Then reinsulating and reskirting. If you enjoyed seeing the less-glamorous side of renovating a single-wide, make sure to Subscribe to follow our renovation journey. Comment below: Have you ever had to crawl under a trailer?
