Respectful Workplace Behaviour - Core Safety Training Respectful workplace behaviour is essential to safety, communication, and teamwork. Professional conduct helps prevent conflict, supports collaboration, and contributes to a productive and safe work environment. This training sets clear expectations for professional behaviour and respectful communication in the workplace. Topics covered in this module include: What respectful workplace behaviour looks like Examples of unacceptable behaviour The difference between behaviour and intent Reasonable workplace management actions Communication expectations and professionalism Behaviour expectations across all work-related settings Employer and worker responsibilities When and how to report behaviour concerns No-reprisal protections This training applies to all workers and supervisors and supports workplace policies and safety requirements. Reporting & Support: • Workplace behaviour concerns must be reported through Corfix and by notifying a supervisor • Both steps are required • If assistance is needed, the office can help complete the report • Workers may also contact the office at staff@propertymaintenancenorth.ca • If unsure how to proceed, ask your supervisor or reach out to the office Workers will not face discipline or reprisal for reporting concerns or asking for support in good faith. This training forms part of the Conduct, Communication & Workplace Culture program and is completed during onboarding, reinforced through toolbox talks, and supported by supervisor instruction.
