The EmpirePod Session: How Empires Fall Josephine Quinn, William Dalrymple and Anita Anand in conversation Join the hosts of the Empire Podcast and their guest Josephine Quinn, Professor of Ancient History at the University of Cambridge, as they discuss the extraordinary moment around 1200BCE when many of the greatest Empires of antiquity all collapsed together. What was the Bronze Age Collapse? Why did Mycenae, Minoan Crete, Troy and the Hittites all fall together at the same moment as ancient Egypt went into massive decline? Presented by Anantara Jewel Bagh Jaipur Hotel Josephine Quinn holds the Chair in Ancient History at the University of Cambridge.
