It flows because He is generous, not because we are strong. Rest in Him invites us to stop striving. Rest is an act of trust. It is choosing to believe that God is working even when we release control. Many of us know how to labor in faith but forget how to rest in love. True rest does not mean inactivity. It means anchoring the heart in God rather than in outcomes. When we rest in Him, our souls are quieted. Our fears lose their voice. We discover that we are carried rather than carrying everything ourselves. When I am Found in the Desert Place reminds us that faith is not proven only in abundance. The desert is a place of stripping, where distractions fall away and hunger becomes honest. Yet deserts are not places of abandonment. They are often places of encounter. God met His people in the wilderness with manna, water, and guidance. He still meets us there today. When praise rises from a dry place, it becomes a declaration that God is enough even when provision feels unseen.
