[First Ride Experience] Amtrak San Joaquins 717 Siemens Venture Set w/ SC-44 2103 & NPCU F40PH 90215

This video was filmed on April 5 2024. This is my first time I rode the Amtrak San Joaquins train in general and my very first time experiencing the Siemens Venture cars themselves. Also it’s my first time I rode with an SC-44 which is 2103 & my first NPCU F40PH I rode with is 90215 despite it’s not leading the train. And of course as a bonus point, the conductor of this train told me that it’s also his first time experiencing the Siemens Venture Set as well while I was exiting the train at Oakland Jack London Square (I bought a ticket for this train to Oakland Jack London Square Station using a ticket machine at Martinez Station just to experience the Siemens Venture train cars for the first time). Notice that the next station signs on the roof aren’t working at all and manual announcements are still used while I was riding this Amtrak San Joaquins Siemens Venture Set. I was expecting an automatic announcement system and the next station signs to work, but found out that it didn’t happen. But still, I was impressed by the design of the interior of the Siemens Venture train cars including the seats themselves.
