The former guesthouse from the 1920s has been transformed into a sustainable and highly innovative building that houses the new industrial robotics laboratories, the first in Italy to have obtained the FACT Centre for Industrial Automation mark, the global standard for learning equipment, teaching methods and technical equipment. The 60 m² immersive room is the only one in Italy where visitors can experience the transformation of steel right down to the melting process. The historical archive, which is always accessible, contains 100,000 photographs and 17,000 terabytes of digitised documents, and the education programme, which is completely free of charge, involves 25,000 students every year and has already trained over 70,000 students.
