Welcome back to my Ramadan Series, Episode 3. Today, we’re making a delicious Arabian Pudding — super easy, creamy, and perfect for Iftar. This recipe uses simple ingredients like fresh cream, powdered sugar, bread, and a ready-made caramel custard packet. It’s quick, fuss-free, and you can get creative with the toppings. Let’s get started! Here’s what you need: Fresh cream (1 cup) Powdered sugar (2 tablespoons) Bread slices (as needed, any type you have) Ready-made caramel custard packet (custard powder + caramel sachet) Milk (3/4 litre) Optional: Choco chips and caramel sauce for decoration. Method: 1. First, boil ¾ liter milk in a pan. Once it starts boiling, add the custard powder from the packet. Cook it on medium flame for 3 minutes, stirring continuously to avoid lumps. Turn off the flame once it thickens. 2. Take a rectangular or circular container — whatever is convenient for you. Layer bread slices at the bottom, then pour the hot custard milk over it generously so the bread soaks up the goodness. Repeat layers of bread and custard milk until the container is full. Make sure the top layer is custard milk. keep it in the fridge to set for 14 to 20 mins. 3. Next, whisk 2 tablespoons powdered sugar into 1 cup fresh cream until smooth and sugar dissolves. Pour this creamy mixture evenly over the pudding in the container. 4. Now the fun part — decoration! Use the caramel sachet from the custard packet to drizzle caramel on top. Add choco chips around the edges or any toppings you like. Be creative! This pudding is simple but looks and tastes festive. 5. Chill it in the fridge for a few hours before serving.
