Lincoln County Emergency Management released new information on recent flooding in Lincoln County Friday morning. During the flood briefing at Libby City Hall, officials shared at least nine bridges within the county were damaged or destroyed, including the Farm to Market Road Bridge and Granite Creek Road Bridge. Officials say the Fifth Street Bridge is now open, but was closed due to water running over the bridge. Major concerns raised include the boil water order, residents using alternative routes due to damaged roads and increased time for emergency response.
