Dairy Animal Nutrition and Mammary Health

During this webinar, Dr. William Weiss, a Dairy Extension Specialist and Ohio State University Animal Sciences Professor, discusses how the proper supplementation of vitamins and minerals can improve immunity and mammary gland health in dairy cows. Dr. Weiss will also talks about how proper feeding, particularly at the time of calving, can reduce metabolic problems that are a major risk factor for mastitis. The session is geared toward veterinarians, Extension educators, farmers, and others who work with certified organic livestock.
