SCIMITAR GTE Rover SD1 V8 engine, MOT and Tax, Resprayed, Restored Chassis

Hello, For sale the Scimitar GTE, recently restored, body off chassis restoration, auto gearbox rebuild, respray in Ferrari Rosso Fiorino metalic paint. It has been converted to a Rover SD1 v8 engine. The conversion is done to the highest standard and the car drives and sound lovely. There is an oil leak from the front timing cover that could be repaired although not excessive so can be driven safely. The body has been removed from the chassis and all rust removed, and new outriggers welded in. It has been done in October 2011 prior to my ownership at cost of £2152.25. I do have massive folder with previous MOTs, bills, history of the car. The Car is fitted with poly bushes, and suspension is all in tact. During my ownership I have rebuild automatic gearbox, serviced it, replaced front brake pads, rear wheels brake cylinders, brake fluid and adjusted hand brake. Also fitted new battery, headlights, wipers. In late September the Scimitar had been resprayed to Ferrari Rosso Fiorino, very nice deep metallic color. It works really well with brown interior and looks very exclusive. The Wolfrace wheels were mirror polished and new tyres fitted. The interior needs work, no carpets at present, electric windows tail gate not wired. In that respect it is a project. Make it the way you like it. I was intending to complete the restoration but new arrival forces sale. I hope this hot rod type conversion, classic British sportscar will put many smiles on the face of a new owner.
