This is the best restaurant in NYC and if not that it is the best seafood restaurant in NYC or the World. And one of only 14 3 Michelin Star restaurants in all of the United States. This is all because of Chef Eric Ripert. His high level of seafood standards and passions puts seafood first and makes fish the star of the show. We were lucky enough to snag a table at this NYC institution. Le Bernadin is warm with nods to the ocean. The bar has a painting of the owners grandfather, a fisherman, that hangs over watching. The portrait came from the original Le Bernadin Restaurant in Paris. The real awards and top ratings came once superstar Chef Eric Ripert took over the kitchen and became co-owner of the Worlds Best Seafood restaurant with French influence.
